Pizza Dough
Ingredients: |
Dissolve active dry yeast in water and let stand for 10 minutes or until foam develops on top. In a large bowl, whisk the flour, salt and sugar. Add oil and mix to uniformly disperse. Pour the water-yeast solution and knead the dough for about 20 minutes. Pour a teaspoon of oil in a large bowl and roll the dough in the bowl to evenly coat the dough with oil. Cover the bowl with a plastic film and set aside in a warm place until the volume doubles, about 1 hour. |

Place the baking stone/tiles or baking tray in the oven and preheat to 260°C /500°F. |

Dimple the base a few times with your fingers and transfer the base with the paper on to the hot stone or tray. Bake until golden brown, about 13-15 minutes.
